The Gun Shot

By Jesus, 5th Grade, Avondale
True Stories That's Weird, Grandma

One day I saw bad guys. I saw two guys shoot a man outside my window. My parents had gone somewhere and I wanted to stay home. When I saw it out the window, and I was scared. It was the first time I’d ever seen those men. I called the police. They told me to stay where I was, and not to look out the window. I went outside when the police arrived. They were nice to me. They asked me what the men looked like. They were looking for evidence, they found bullets in the neighbor’s garage. The police were there for 30 min. Then ABC news called my mom when she got home but she told them nothing happened, because she didn’t know about. When the police left, my family went upstairs and went to sleep. I looked out the window to see if they came back. I fell asleep on the floor. When I woke up, I saw that someone else was shot, but I didn’t see who it was, and the police were already there.
