That's Weird, Grandma
Once upon a time there were people and they went to the restaurant to eat breakfast. They ate good food like pancakes, sausage, eggs, syrup, and dipping sauce and bacon and lemonade and biscuits. There were dancing and they were going to go to work. Ashley was a waitress and john, Jasmine, Gina, and Jason were customers. The Bears wre playing the New York Giants. A mailman came in and passed out papers and tickets telling them about the football game. They went to see the game. The game was at the fourth quarter. They saw a man on the ground crying and bloody – he was a football player named Big Boogie. They (the customers) stopped cheering and said “Why is this man sitting on the ground?” They found out the Bears lost by 47 points. They said “Boo! The Bears lost!”. The New York Giants got made because the customers said they didn’t win. Big Boogie felt sad. Big Boogie went crazy and tried to punch but they moved out of the way and he fell on the ground and hurt himself. The Bears said “No, the Giants won.” And everyone cheered “Giants! Giants!” And that’s how we end our story.

Holidays Winter Holidays That's Weird, Grandma
Once upon a time there was a girl named Monica. Monica was in first grade and was very bad at geography. One day she received a letter from Santa. It said:
Dear Monica,
You are invited to a party at my workshop. On the night of Christmas Eve, a reindeer will pick you up. But, you have to tell the reindeer where to go.
Love,
Santa
PS. There is an indoor swimming pool which is pretty warm.
“Wow, I must pack warm clothes and a swimsuit,” Monica said. During the middle of Christmas Eve she heard a bell ringing. “That must be Santa’s reindeer,” Monica said. Monica dressed up and got onto a sleigh. “Now which way shall we go,” the reindeer asked. “My teacher told us to memorize South is up, East is left, North is down and West is right, so we have to go South which is up.” It took a long time to get to Santa’s workshop because Monica got all mixed up. When they finally arrived the party was already over. “I missed the party,” Monica sobbed. “I saved some toys and a piece of cake for you.” “Yay,” Monica cheered.

When I grow up, I want to be a teacher. After the morning gets started and we do calendar, I would let them (the students) have ‘free choice.’ Then, recess. Then, ‘free choice.’ Then, lunch and then, recess. Then they would have a little rest. They would have ‘Library’ and then ‘Reading.’ We would do a puppet show and then go home.
